The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
by Barbara Robinson
directed by Warren and Courtney Wilgus
When a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids – possibly the most inventively awful kids in history. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head-on!
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a classic story of misfits and tolerance. On the surface, it is a story about an All-American town’s annual Christmas pageant and the wild hellions who take it over.
However, at its heart, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever explores the universal need for love and acceptance, as well as the idea that there is good in all of us. Though the running time of the production is short, its message is large and truly something we all should be mindful of – to not judge a book by its cover, to always put our best foot forward, and to extend the love and compassion of Christmas to all.
We are honored to bring this gem to life and pray that as you experience this story, you will be touched by its message.
