King Laz

by Susana Guillaume

Noted Santa Fe actress Susana Guillaume will bring her one woman show, King Laz to the Adobe Theater for one performance only at 7 PM on Sunday, June 22. The three part monologue is presented in association with the Albuquerque Alzheimer’s Association.

Ms. Guillaume was born to English parents and spent much of her youth in France. In the past seven years she has performed her works including “Girl Facing West” and “The Pinnacle of My French Ambition” at Solo Festivals in New York and Albuquerque as well as various venues in Santa Fe and Taos. Drawing on her own life, these humorous tales tell of the free-spirited girl who ran off to live in America. “King Laz” relates her most calamitous year when she returned to Europe to care for her aging parents and was able to resolve their complex relationships.
