by John Patrick Shanley
directed by Nancy Sellin
Set in the 60s, but strongly mirroring present-day sentiment, Doubt – A Parable takes a passionate look at the power of uncertainty and judgment, and the effect they can have on our lives.
Winner of both the Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award, Doubt – A Parable tells the story of a beloved and progressive parish priest, Father Flynn, who stands accused of a horrible crime by Sister Aloysius, principal of St. Nicholas Catholic School in the Bronx. Based only upon her own suspicions, she goes on a mission to have Father Flynn removed from his duties at the church and school.
Arms and the Man by George Bernard Shaw
