Auditions for The Bridges of Madison County (The Musical) will take place at the Adobe Theatre “Casa” on Feb.1 at 12 pm and Feb. 2nd at 6 pm.

An accompanist will be provided or you may bring your own, please bring sheet music in the proper key. No tracks or a cappella. The song should be something appropriate for a musical and between 30 and 60 seconds in length.


Francesca– an Italian war bride- this role has been cast.

Robert Kincaid– A ruggedly handsome, worldly National Geographic photographer in his mid fifties.

Richard “Bud” Johnson– Francesca’s husband. Iowa farmer. A good guy. Aways exhausted.-50’s

Marian– Robert’s ex-wife and Chiara– Francesca’s sister living in Italy will be played by the same actor.

Michael– Francesca and Bud’s son- 16

Carolyn– Francesca and Bud’s daughter- 14

Marge– the nosy and sassy neighbor- 60ish.

Charlie– Marge’s husband 60ish

There will also be a small ensemble that will play several parts.

We will rehearse beginning Feb. 16 four days a week (at the beginning) and open on April 3 playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday matinees for four weekends.
